MS-600 Building Applications and Solutions with Microsoft 365 Core Services
This course covers implementing Microsoft Identity, working with Microsoft Graph, and extending Microsoft 365 services like SharePoint, Teams, and Office. Students will learn to develop integrated solutions using UI elements and determine workload platform targets for real-world applications.
Learning Outcomes
- Register an application in Azure AD and implement authentication
- Configure permissions to consume APIs and create services to access Microsoft Graph
- Access user data and manage group lifecycles using Microsoft Graph
- Package and deploy SharePoint Framework solutions and utilize Microsoft Graph consumption
- Create tabs, webhooks, and conversational bots in Microsoft Teams
- Understand and customize Office Add-ins, JavaScript APIs, and actionable messages
Prerequisites
Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, OData, OpenID Connect, Microsoft identities (including Azure AD, Microsoft accounts, Azure AD B2C), and permission/consent concepts. Recommended experience in developing solutions on Microsoft Teams, Office Add-ins, or SharePoint Framework through all phases of software development.
