Description
This course teaches the basics of Microsoft’s Transact-SQL for querying and modifying data in relational databases hosted on SQL Server-based systems, including SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics. It covers essential skills for data professionals to efficiently manage and analyze data in various roles.
Learning Outcomes

- Write SELECT statements to retrieve columns from one or more tables
- Sort and filter selected data
- Use built-in functions to return data values
- Create groups of data and aggregate the results
