AZ-030 Microsoft Azure Technologies for AWS Architects
This course teaches AWS Cloud Architects how to design secure, scalable, and reliable solutions on Microsoft Azure. It covers virtualization, networking, storage, identity, and application infrastructure, highlighting how each decision impacts the overall solution.
Learning Outcomes
- Secure identities with Azure Active Directory and implement users and groups
- Implement identity solutions spanning on-premises and cloud-based capabilities
- Apply monitoring solutions for collecting, combining, and analyzing data from different sources
- Manage subscriptions, accounts, Azure policies, and Role-Based Access Control
- Administer Azure using Resource Manager, Azure portal, Cloud Shell, and CLI
- Configure intersite connectivity solutions like VNet Peering and virtual network gateways
- Administer Azure App Service, Azure Container Instances, and Kubernetes
Prerequisites
Understanding of compute, networking, and interaction with external resources/services; on-premises virtualization technologies (VMs, virtual networking, virtual hard disks); network configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, encryption); Active Directory concepts (domains, forests, domain controllers, replication, Kerberos, LDAP); resilience and disaster recovery (backup/restore operations); programming fundamentals and scripting language usage.
- AWS Cloud Architects with expertise in designing and implementing solutions on AWS who now want to design for Microsoft Azure.
"This course seamlessly transitions AWS expertise to Azure, empowering architects to design efficient and secure cloud solutions. - Rajesh Kumar, Senior Cloud Architect at a leading Singaporean enterprise"
