This course provides students with the skills and knowledge required to successfully create and maintain the cloud and edge portions of an Azure IoT solution. It includes full coverage of core Azure IoT services such as IoT Hub, Device Provisioning Services, and Azure Stream Analytics, along with hands-on labs for practical experience.

• Provision devices using IoT Hub and DPS, including at scale
• Establish secure two-way communication between devices and IoT Hub
• Implement message processing with IoT Hub routing and Azure Stream Analytics
• Configure connections to Time Series Insights and support business integration
• Implement IoT Edge scenarios with marketplace modules and gateway patterns
• Develop and deploy custom edge modules and containers
• Implement device management using device twins and direct methods
• Set up solution monitoring, logging, and diagnostics testing
• Address security concerns and implement Azure Security Center for IoT
• Build IoT solutions using Azure IoT Central and recognize SaaS opportunities

Prerequisites

Experience using the Azure Portal and a basic understanding of PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS implementations. Software development experience is required, though no specific language or professional level is needed. A general understanding of data storage and data processing is recommended but not mandatory.
