AZ-304 Microsoft Azure Architect Design
This course teaches Solutions Architects how to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Lessons include design considerations related to logging, cost analysis, authentication, authorization, governance, security, storage, high availability, and migration.

Prerequisites
Successful Azure Architects begin with experience in operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage structures, networking, applications, and databases. Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies (VMs, virtual networking, virtual hard disks), network configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, encryption), Active Directory concepts (domains, forests, domain controllers, replication, Kerberos, LDAP), resilience and disaster recovery (backup/restore), applications development and APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), decoupling applications and services (queues, tables, cache), and security concepts (encryption at rest/in transit, SSL, TLS).

- AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals
- AZ-104: Azure administrators or AZ-303: Azure Solutions Architect Technologies
- IT Professionals with expertise in designing and implementing solutions running on Microsoft Azure, requiring broad knowledge of IT operations including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platform, budgeting, and governance. Candidates must have expert-level skills in Azure administration and experience with Azure development and DevOps processes.
