Prerequisites

Successful Azure Architects should have experience with operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage structures, networking, applications, and databases. This includes understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, network configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, encryption), Active Directory concepts, resilience and disaster recovery, applications development and APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), decoupling applications and services, and security concepts like encryption at rest and in transit.
